●Our firm conducted numerous contract law seminars in 2009 and the first quarter of 2010, including two seminars by Dr. John E. Murray and Mr. Hogue for the Ohio State Bar Association in Columbus and Cleveland (see here and here).  In addition, Dr. Murray conducted a multi-state, three-hour live video seminar for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute featuring Dr. John E. Murray, Jr., a first for PBI.   The seminar was broadcast live from Harrisburg,  Pennsylvania PBS station WITF to multiple locations in four states -- Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri and North Carolina.  Dr. Murray also conducted a telephonic seminar "Current Issues in the Battle of the Forms" sponsored by Lorman Education Services.  Tim Murray was one of the presenters for "To Save and to Hold Harmless" for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and twice in Philadelphia.

•Dr. Murray's landmark Corbin on Contracts Desk Edition (Lexis 2009) was published in 2009.  About this book:  Corbin on Contracts has been characterized as the greatest law book ever written. Now available is the Corbin on Contracts Desk Edition. The Desk Edition provides a single-volume compendium of contract law, giving effective, efficient, accurate, and current analysis of all the tenets of the law of contracts.  It is not merely an abridged version of the fifteen-volume landmark work. This single volume publication is a new and original work authored by one of the leading contracts experts in the world today, Dr. John Murray Jr.  Although it is a product complete unto itself, through the use of numerous practice resource references incorporated into every chapter, the Desk Edition provides the user with immediate reference to the multitude of case law citations, statutes, and other relevant material found in the full fifteen-volume Corbin treatise. In short, the user of the Desk Edition is provided with both a single-volume explanation of contract law and also with a vehicle that offers the option of doing deeper research by providing particular, continuous, and accurate references to the master treatise.

•Dr. Murray's latest salses law treatise, for West Publishing, was also published in 2009: Sales, Leases and Electronic Commerce: Problems and Materials on National and International Transactions, 3d edition (West Publishing 2009), by John E. Murray, Jr. and Harry Flecthner.

•Dr. Murray also completed his principal work assisting in redrafting the Pennsylvania civil jury instructions for contract law.
